What’s the difference between Stick Up Cam Battery, Stick Up Cam Solar and Stick Up Cam Wired?

The main difference is how each device receives power and connects to the Internet.

Stick Up Cam Battery is powered by a quick-release rechargeable battery pack and connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi. Stick Up Cam Solar also connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi, but it includes a solar panel to charge the battery pack. Stick Up Cam Wired gives you multiple options for power and Internet. Stick Up Cam Wired can connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet and can be powered via plug-in or Power over Ethernet (PoE Adapter included).

The devices also have different ways to detect motion. Both Stick Up Cam Battery and Stick Up Cam Solar feature adjustable motion detection, while Stick Up Cam Wired features customisable motion detection.

What’s the difference between Stick Up Cam and Spotlight Cam?

Stick Up Cam is a versatile solution that can be placed indoors or outdoors. Its adjustable mounting bracket lets you place your device on any flat surface so you can move it when you need to, or you can mount it on a wall or ceiling when you need a more permanent placement.

Spotlight Cam is an outdoor security camera with LED light strips that give you a clear image of your property at any time of day. It features a secure mounting bracket that allows you to set up your device on any wall, ceiling, eave, etc.

Both Stick Up Cam Battery and Spotlight Cam Battery are powered by a quick-release battery pack, and they’re also compatible with Ring Solar Panel. Both Stick Up Cam Solar and Spotlight Cam Solar come with Ring Solar Panel and a battery pack. However, Stick Up Cam Wired and Spotlight Cam Wired differ slightly in how they receive power. Both Stick Up Cam Wired and Spotlight Cam Wired can connect to standard power outlets, but Stick Up Cam Wired also has an option for power over ethernet (PoE Adapter included).

Does Stick Up Cam save my videos so I can review them later?

If you have a Ring Protect Plan, videos captured by Stick Up Cam will be saved to your Ring account for up to 30 days, so you can review them at any time. All Stick Up Cams come with a free 30-day trial of the Ring Protect Basic. After 30 days, you can choose to purchase a Ring Protect Plan to save your videos.
