We’re looking for the right balance of technological savvy and customer obsession to join us in building a technical support team in Ireland for Amazon’s home security brand, Ring. The Customer Support Supervisor will play a critical role in Ring’s global expansion and commitment to delivering world-class support in Europe.

A Customer Support Supervisor will ensure technical customer support associates are equipped to provide a delightful experience while guiding customers through device setup and troubleshooting. This role will partner with Ring leadership, directing and supporting teams through ambiguous and dynamic situations, monitoring key performance indicators, and adjusting processes as needed.

New hires will work an eight-hour shift from home or Amazon’s Cork office. Current operating hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. CET, seven days a week.   • Provide European customers with expert support on home security device setup and troubleshooting through your team
  • Manage a team of technical support associates and their activities for achieving targets and goals
  • Monitor team performance metrics to ensure that the call center goals are consistently exceeded
  • Coach, develop, and motivate team members to exceed department goals
  • Write and conduct performance evaluations, and monitor attendance and performance of each employee
  • Maintain harmony among employees and resolve grievance to create a Ring-worthy atmosphere
  • Adapt and champion consistent changes in a technical startup environment

  • German language proficiency
  • 2+ years call centre leadership experience
  • Proven experience with call centre operations, including KPIs, coaching techniques, and strategies
  • Strong knowledge of customer satisfaction drivers
  • Leadership qualities, including relationship building, meeting facilitation, time management, organizational skills, and ability to lead
  • Provide European customers with expert support on home security device setup and troubleshooting through your team
  • Strong interpersonal communication with the ability to adapt to personalities
  • Ability to engage and develop up to 15 technical support associates, working closely with a dedicated coach to deliver best-in-class technical support
  • Proven ability to manage and engage remote employees
  • If working from home, hardwired DSL, Cable, or fibre optic internet (satellite or wireless internet connections are prohibited). Meet a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed
  • Provide a private work space that is free of extraneous noises and distractions for working from home
  • Provide a comfortable, ergonomically safe desk chair and desk that can accommodate a dual monitor set up for working from home

  • Ability to document technical customer issues into notes that are consumable by other users
  • Technical curiosity and excitement to learn new technologies and help customers succeed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven success in a fast-paced support environment
  • Experience in leading teams through changes and ambiguity
